The first fallen snow of winter can feel very much like a lullaby. Snow softly falling almost magically quiets the world around us and provides us with a tremendous sense of peace and calm. It's almost as if nature is reminding us to take a deep breath and simply slow down.
This album began as solo piano but in the process of creating the arrangements, Kevin decided to take some of the songs and turn them into duo and trio versions which gave them a life all their own. He is joined on this album by two friends who are some of the finest musicians here in the Twin Cities - Greg Byers on cello and Jill Olson-Moser on violin.
